Alright, so the other day I was messing around, trying to get a copy of the OMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. First off, I heard that OMEGA dropped this new Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer thing. Sounds fancy, right?
So, I started digging around. The first thing I did was try to figure out sizing, ’cause that’s always a pain. I stumbled upon some info about shirt sizes, of all things. Apparently, the first number is the neck size and the second is the sleeve length. Like, a “15 34/35” means a 15-inch neck and a 34-35 inch sleeve. Who knew?
Then, there was this whole thing about chest measurements for alpha sizing. Extra-small is like 32-35 inches, small is 36-38 inches, and so on. It’s all a bit confusing, but I guess it’s useful to know.
Getting Down to Business
- I grabbed a soft measuring tape – you know, the kind tailors use.
- First, I measured around the base of my neck, where a shirt collar would sit. Kept it snug but not too tight, just like the instructions said.
- Next, I wrapped the tape around the fullest part of my chest. That was a bit awkward, but I managed.
- Finally, I measured my waist.
After all that, I had my measurements. Now, I just had to match those up with whatever sizing OMEGA uses for their Marstimer thing. I ended up ordering one of them.
It’s not a perfect system, and I’m still not 100% sure I got the right size, but hey, I gave it a shot. It’s all part of the fun, right? Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the OMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer copy. Hope you found it at least a little bit entertaining!
