Hey everyone, so, I’ve been eyeing this OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope watch for a while now, and I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one. I gotta say, the whole process was quite an experience, and I just had to share it all with you guys!
First off, I started by digging around online to see where I could even buy this thing. I mean, it’s not like you can just walk into any old store and find one of these beauties, right? So, I hit up Google and started searching for authorized retailers, and I also checked out some online stores that sell pre-owned watches.
After looking at a bunch of different places, I realized that the prices were all over the place! Some pre-owned ones were going for around $5,995, while brand new ones were way up there, like over $10,000! I saw some listed at $7,150, $7,680, and some around $6,000 – it was a real mixed bag.
I finally managed to find out about a pop-up shop. It was just so cool to get one!
Once I actually got my hands on the watch, I was blown away. The craftsmanship is just insane! I mean, this thing has a manual-winding OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908 movement inside. And you can even see it through the back of the watch, which is made of sapphire crystal. It’s seriously a piece of art.
Anyway, the whole process of buying this OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope was a bit of a rollercoaster, but totally worth it. The watch is amazing, and I’m so happy I finally got it.
