Let me tell you, getting one of these fancy CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope watches, it ain’t like picking up a burger at a fast-food joint. You gotta know what you’re lookin’ for, especially if you’re going to the official flagship store. So, first thing I did was search on the Internet to see some pictures, just to get a feel for it, you know?
This CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope, it’s like a story you can wear on your wrist. They say it’s made by this company, OMEGA. Sounds fancy, right? I did find out that this Omega SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker, based in Switzerland, this makes it looks more expensive, right?
So, I made my mind to really go to the store and see it myself. I took my grandson with me – he’s more into these things than I am. And the design, there are many styles. Each model has an unique identifier. I heard that it’s called product identification code or PIC. After searching on the Internet, I found that it consists of 14 digits. I am not quite sure about it but it did look like a long digits number. This thing, with all them scales and whatnot. Three scales, if I remember right. I don’t know how they work, but they look cool. We looked around, asked a few questions. The folks there, they knew their stuff, I’ll give ’em that. After seeing it in person, I understood what the big deal was about it.
Now, these watches, they ain’t cheap. But let me tell you, this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope, it’s just a good lookin’ watch. My grandson was drooling all over it. After talking to the store guy, I know that it’s not only just a watch, it’s an investment. It has increased over 10% over the last 18 months. And they also said that Omega will increase their retail prices again at the beginning of 2024, so I think maybe I can buy it in advance before the price goes up again.
If you’re like me, you want somethin’ that looks good but won’t cost you an arm and a leg, this might be it. It’s got that classic style, you know? Timeless, like they say. The 43mm size is just good, and it’s inspired from OMEGA’s chronograph wristwatches from the 1940s. This really makes it unique within the Speedmaster line. So, I took some pictures of it to have a further think. I guess I will come back again to buy it as my next month’s investment.
